ANNUAL REPORT 2019-20

A Year Like No Other

Within two days of shelter-in-place orders on March 13, 2020, The Tech built multiple new programs to expand our reach exponentially, ensuring we could continue inspiring the innovator in everyone, everywhere — even while our doors were closed. We pivoted our in-depth programs, like The Tech Challenge and Tech Academies, to virtual formats. And we worked behind the scenes to plan a return to business just as soon as it is safe.

Here’s a look back at a year like no other.

“I learned how to persevere through difficult times and adapt to different situations. I also learned better problem-solving and communication skills. But the biggest thing I discovered was my interest in engineering.”
